Number Sense (Fractions and Decimals) - Week 45: Lesson 3: Percentages
In this lesson, students will review how to convert fractions to decimals. We will also practise converting between fractions, decimals, and percentages.
Multiply the denominator to make 10 or 100, multiply the numerator by the same number. Then move the decimal place.
You can also use long division:
Then simply multiply your number by 100 to find the percent.
