How do we add or subtract decimal numbers?
To solve these types of problems we will be using column addition or subtraction (med uppställning). It is important to line up the place values. The decimal helps us to line up the numbers correctly. Use the decimal to line up the units, tenths (tiondelar) and hundredths (hundradelar).
