They will be required to research the location, transportation, accommodations, and activities for their stay. Students will be given a workbook in which to complete all of their research and calculations. Workbooks will be kept in the classroom

This is the final day to complete research in class. Students must find the individual costs for: a return flight to the destination of their choice one night's accommodation transportation within the city 5 different activities Students will then use their knowledge of the 4 operations to calculate the total costs for everyone on their vacation.

Calculations must be completed in the workbooks provided as these will be used as part of the assessment of this project.

The main part of the project will be presenting their work to the class in an oral presentation. To support their presentation, students will create a poster on plain A3 paper that will be provided for them. The poster must be neat and organised to best show what they have researched. All posters must be completed by the end of today's lesson. If students are finished creating their posters, they may begin to practise their presentation in small groups.
Update: St. Lucia Celebration in the morning for 5A and 5B = No lesson 5C and 5D will have one last class to work on their posters. We might also watch a movie since it's our last day for the term.
