Numbers - Week 37- Lesson 1 - Multiplying Decimals
Lesson Objective: The students will be able to multiply whole numbers by decimals and multiply decimals by decimals.

Go over the multiplying principles and terms:
- You can multiply numbers in any order (not like division)
- When you multiply by 0, the product is 0.
The students will multiply using the column method and determine how to put the decimal in the correct place.
You can begin in the textbook with problems 4 and 5 on page 151-152. Problems 6 and 7 are real life examples using word problems.
